1.What is the working title of your next book?
2.Where did the idea come from for the book?
It’s the conclusion to my Paranormal Romance series, Dominion.
3.What genre does your book fall under?
Paranormal Romantic Suspense – the romance and the suspense plots are both important, although the romance is more important overall – and there are vampires and angels, so it’s paranormal.
4.What actors would you choose to play the part of your characters in a movie rendition?
Ian Somerhalder would have to play the twins. For the heroine, it’s hard to say. I would pick Saoirse Ronan because she’s a great actress.
5.What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
When Eve can’t choose between the beautiful de Cernay twins, Fate and the war to prevent Dominion chose for her.
6.Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
7.How long did/will it take you to write the first draft of the manuscript?
8.What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Dunno… It’s pretty different…
9.Who or what inspired you to write this book?
For the series, a picture of Ian Somerhalder, truth be told. Yes I am that shallow. The man is just too damn gorgeous. What got me was the pose – praying.
I was writing a novel about an ancient vampire named Michel de Cernay, and I decided to make him a priest and see how becoming a vampire and having to kill to survive would affect his mind and heart. Then, I decided one character looking like Ian was not enough. Why not identical twins? So Julien was born. He looks a lot like Michel, except with short hair.
10.What else about the book might pique the reader’s interest?
It’s the conclusion to the series. Plot is finished, loose ends tied up, and Eve has to make life and death decisions for the brothers.
